The Ducks scored lots and lots of points last week (and Ty Thompson luckily helped CU sneak in through the back door), but the weather in Seattle is starting to look less and less conducive to a scorefest.
Here’s Christian’s (plus my out-on-a-limb lean) week-in-review:
Official Picks:
Under 49 - Miss
CU +24 - Winner
Leans:
Ducks ML - Winner
Week 9 Record: (1-1) + Leans: (2-1)
Season Record: (5-5) + Leans: (8-5)
We won a little bit last week, and I can feel our fortunes getting ready to turn just a little, folks.
Let’s see where Vegas thinks the 4th-ranked Oregon Ducks stand against their hated puppy rivals:
The Duckies will travel to the Seattle City Dump as a touchdown favorite, and the total is looking kind of high when you consider that these Huskies have scored 21 or less in 5 of their 8 games this year—and even more so when you factor in a wind that might be blowing anywhere between 25 & 40 mph throughout the rainy gametime.
And that’s where Christian wants you to play:
I think this game is gonna be close, I hate to sound like a broken record but I like the under. I’m hoping ❌e come out and cover and kill them but I don’t see it.
So, take the Under 51 points, and that way you’ll probably only have to spend the final two minutes of the game stressing as a fan when the actual result is hanging in the balance of an ugly, gusty slugfest.
Go Ducks.
