We have new Ditch Rich Power Rankings for Week 4—thanks to everyone who voted!
Along with the rankings, I also asked the readers which Pac-12 player has been the most impressive so far, and 62% of voters agreed that The General, Verone McKinley III, fit that description. V3 was also the only player to get multiple votes.
And now, for The Good, The Bad, and The Badder of the Pac-12.
The Good: I told you that the Beavs are for real!
Just looking at the power rankings, the most notable shift between this week and last is obviously the good ol’ Beavs jumping to number three.
They shellacked USC down in the Coli (just like I said they would, and no matter who the Trojans had at QB), and just like that, they have earned a gigantic, program-shifting victory on the road, and now this week they’ll welcome the Huskies to Corvallis for one of their biggest non-Civil War games of the last decade.
That Reser expansion is becoming more and more timely by the week.
Now, I’d personally like both Oregon State and UDub to collect a Pac-12 loss or seven sooner rather than later, and this game has never been one in which I “root” for either side. However, in the offseason I did predict that OSU was poised to beat the Doogs, so I’ll just say that I wouldn’t mind being right once again.
Also, 100% of Ditch Rich Pac-12 Poll voters also agree that the Beavs are winning this week, so I’ll place my trust in my loyal readers, too.
The Bad: “Dueces”
Congrats on the win, but there’s still time to delete this tweet and like, fix it.
But we’ll give the Beavs a pass on misspelling deuces while celebrating. My blogs aren’t exactly perfect in the proofreading department either.
The Badder: We all can’t be Rich Brooks.
This isn’t even a “Badder” at all, and it’s actually just turning this entire blog into a Beaver blog, but whatever, it’s THEIR WEEK.
Rich Brooks has been using twitter to chronicle his recent camping trip with a couple of his former OSU teammates (sorry if that’s how you figured out this blog is technically named after a Beav, but Autzen Stadium is too, so there).
It just looks like such a wholesome trip, and I thought it’d brighten your day.
I guess the real “Badder” part of this is that Rich lost in the corn hole tourney. Better luck next year, Coach.
Go Ducks.
